Massive Space by ChaosFissure Massive Space by ChaosFissure
Yep, it's a massive 16,000 x 8,000 px fractal of some stars.  And it's lossy, because DA doesn't support uploading files over 80mb, so I had to downgrade it to a jpg. If it's useful, please let me know and show me what you've done with it!

Woah. :O

If I didn't know better, I'd say it was shot from the Hubble telescope itself! Incredible work. :D

Hats off! Clap Splendid starfield, there are even some lights that look like galaxies. :)

I enjoy the simplicity of this one.I like how around the sides it's more darker,to the scatter brightness of the stars, that isn't overpowering.
A lot of your work I see stands out with the movement and flow of colors, that creates it's own story.

That's a fair assessment - I do spend a lot of time working with motion and interaction between objects, and try to portray many concepts in a single piece of artwork.  This is definitely a lot more simple, is visually more calming to look at, and you're right - it doesn't mean it's not effective or beautiful.

Yeah, I figure I'd release something big to make up for how small my usual stuff is :lmao:

Nah, something like this seems like it could be useful, and was sitting in my unused fractal storage for over a year.  Starfields are fairly common (though this is structured in a relatively aesthetic way), so I figured that I might as well make a big piece of stock from it rather than let it sit and collect dust.  I hope to release more stock in the future (both free and for points or something), but I'm trying to see how it would work and how many people would actually use it before doing so.

I assure you that I would use something like this if I knew how to make the proper art. Like typography.

Another part of the reasons why I would want to use it is because I love promoting my favorite artists/musicians/writers and all~ :P

I love the tiny dots of stars/light!

It's been pretty long since you've done a more "spacial" type of art such as this..

(I know I talk pretty confusing)

Normally I work with clouds and stars, not a pure starfield.  This is something I had sitting around and spent a bit of time years ago trying to create so I could use it in a gamedev class as a background, and I figured that some people might find use from it, so I decided to render it out large as stock.

It looks pretty good considering you made this years ago, you were less experienced then you are now.

You've definitely improved quite a bit. :)
