Piercing my Jacket by ChaosFissure Piercing my Jacket by ChaosFissure
I was walking my dog outside earlier today, and it didn't take too long for me to realize that my sweatshirt wasn't lined to buffet the wind.

This is the most striking piece of art I have enjoyed on DA, or anywhere, in months, which is saying something for how much I view. Provided that opinion may be influenced by my own mood at the time of seeing the art, this on included, but in general I'm pretty even keeled about this.

heh, this is probably going to be one of the weirdest praises you've ever gotten. :P but when I like an abstract/emotional piece like this I tend to get wordy, to many hours spent critiquing artwork for other students.
I'm actually actively holding back my "fine art voice" from just blabbing on and on about this. but besides the many things I like about the actual picture, I will say your title/description was awesome, not completely related but so perfectly matched and adding wonderfully to the image.

That is quite a compliment and means a lot to me to hear this! I don't mind wordy critiques or discussion, so you're welcome to speak your mind if you are so inclined.

I keep the title somewhat separated from the image intentionally; one of my goals when sharing more abstract artwork is to try to offer a broad interpretation of the piece without distorting original views people may have regarding it. That way, people can creatively engage with the artwork and pull out what they like the most.

The orange clashing with the white actually has a rather nice affect. :D The orange also looks like it glows... I like that orange. xD
