Torn Apart by ChaosFissure Torn Apart by ChaosFissure
Part 2/4 for a final project I have in a class.  Honestly, I like working with pink and dark colors for some reason, and there's some fiery colors in there to boot.  It's a bit darker than stuff I usually work with, but I think it's rather fitting in this context.

This is uncommonly unique. The black appears to be the fore of the fractal, where the colors and patterns are in the background area. Excellent job so far. :D

I definitely agree with what you've said.  It's something different that I wanted to try working with, and I do love how the colors and the negative tones (which is what the black area is - negative value, or rather an "anti-brightness") complement each other in an interesting way.  It's definitely not something I do too often, but I think that it really worked here.

Thanks for the comment :D

Well first of all, I  the colors you chose to use here! I think you're right too; It's a bit contrasty honestly, but it works well with the nature of what you're trying to convey. I think it flows together very well, and I like how the lighting in the center dissipates as you go up and down the piece. Great persepctive as well! :D

I have a thing for saturation and contrast, and sometimes fall into lapses of withdrawal if I don't have stuff that floods my mind with it for a long enough time. XD
