Choosing framing for fractals can be one of the most obnoxious things ever. These things sometimes have so many cool elements that fitting them all into a rectangular space is impossible...but one can try!
Generally I don't "do characters" or things, but this bird shape thing has shown up in at least three of my pieces of artwork now ( fav.me/d7dxyxj and fav.me/d78yfr3 being the other two). I consider this a historic "predecessor" to Oblivion in the sense that you need the warning before the destruction, but I wouldn't consider the colors themselves in either Oblivion or this to be indicative of fire...
Also, does this mean that I've made OCs out of fractals?
