Me Creating A Fractal

Description

I couldn't think of a good cover image or title so I apologize for its low quality and table flip unicode :dummy:

I know some people probably are curious to see how I go about making things.  I haven't done a streaming thing in a while, nor have I done any videos of things, so this "super timelapse" showing the "most interesting" results of fractal shapes I saved during the process of creating a fractal will have to do for now.  I'll eventually get to videos or more streaming at some point in time!

All of the images should show similarities from one image to the next, despite some large jumps near the beginning, and some flipping near the end when I'm looking for interesting things in fractal shapes I made earlier.  Some of the ones near the middle might actually be the best.  This represents about 40-50% of my fractal creation process, and there's a lot that occurs in the next 50% that isn't captured here.

I think it does a good job of showing how fractals are incredibly mutable and can change rapidly even after you've come up with an interesting set of shapes.  There are only minor glimpses into changing colors, but as I typically do color selection on the export from Apophysis to Chaotica, and inside of Chaotica using a gradient copypaste script I wrote, that really wasn't addressed in this fractal except near the very beginning.

I hope you all find it interesting!

This is beautiful and I strongly encourage you to make more video stuff of your process, especially if you were to make a higher definition video.

My art is a lot different from yours but I do use underlying fractal shapes and geometric patterns in both my abstract and non abstract work. By far the process of making my paintings and drawings is more enjoyable to me than any end result, mainly because there are so many options for the end result. It's taking a moving, breathing thing and putting it into a single still. And the fluidity of forms and the actual act of tweaking an image is just a truly beautiful thing, and something I feel like a lot of people dont get to experience. This time-lapse gif really shows a side of it that a lot of people who don't work with fractals might not get from a single image.

Anyways, fantastic as always. Keep up the good work.
